About me

Hello, my name is Michele Wardall and I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist living and working in the beautiful Forest of Dean. I am also a Registered Nurse with many years of experience working in NHS hospitals and hospice care here in the UK, and at a nurse-led community outpost overseas.

I gained my Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (DSFH) at The Clifton Practice in Bristol, which is the leading national training school for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, and achieved an additional qualification, the Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma (HPD), which is externally accredited at Level IV by the NCFE, a national awarding organisation in further education.

I chose Solution Focused Hypnotherapy because I believe it is suitable for everybody. It can help with emotional and psychological difficulties and, through that route, offers support with many physical complaints, too. It alleviates suffering and promotes mental well-being and this makes it a truly person-centred, wholesome and holistic modality, which is what I love about it. I work with both children and adults, from primary school-age children to the most senior citizens and everyone in-between – everybody receives a warm welcome at my Lydbrook practice.

Professional Memberships & Registrations

I am a member of the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH) and was invited onto the register of the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH), both of which have a Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics that I must adhere to, including a commitment to regular supervision and continued professional development to keep my skills up to date, and I am fully insured. I am also registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
