Hello, my name is Michele Wardall and I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist living and working in the beautiful Forest of Dean. I am also a Registered Nurse with many years of experience working in NHS hospitals and hospice care here in the UK, and at a nurse-led community outpost overseas.
I trained in hypnotherapy and psychotherapy at The Clifton Practice in Bristol – the leading national training school for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy – where I was taught by its founder, David Newton.
I achieved a
Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (DSFH)
and the accredited
Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma (HPD)
Why did I choose to train in this type of hypnotherapy in particular?
I chose Solution Focused Hypnotherapy because I believe it is suitable for everybody. It can help with emotional and psychological difficulties and, through that route, offers support with many physical complaints, too. It alleviates suffering and promotes mental well-being and this makes it a truly person-centred, wholesome and holistic modality, which is what I love about it. I work with both children and adults, from primary school-age children to the most senior citizens and everyone in-between – everybody receives a warm welcome at my Lydbrook practice.
Insurance and DBS
I am fully insured and hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate for working with Adults and Children.
(DBS is the Disclosure and Barring Service and was formerly known as the Criminal Record Bureau, or CRB, check. It changed its name when it merged with the Independent Safeguarding Authority in 2013.)
